Situated close to the Gulf of Mexico and the St. Joseph Sound, Dunedin is a charming town that consistently draws repeat visitors. Often called “Delightful Dunedin,” the town delivers a little something for everyone: beaches, shopping, and dining, along with local bike trails, golf courses, and historic sites.

The picturesque downtown features plenty of restaurants and even a local microbrewery. Visitors will also find antiques stores and other shops for a wide variety of window shopping. Rent a bike for the afternoon and ride around downtown or head out on one of the local trails.

Close to Dunedin are two award-winning beaches: Honeymoon Island and Caladesi Island. Honeymoon Island is a lovely spot, and there’s even a dog beach for the canine members of your family. Caladesi Island is accessible from Honeymoon Island State Park’s ferry, and has been named the #1 beach in North America.
